Please select one of the following scenarios that applies to you:
- If you have multiple 2FAs set up on your account
- If your only 2FA is Google Authenticator, and you have the backup code or the secure private key
- If you do not have the backup code or the secure private key, or if your only 2FA is Yubikey
If you have multiple 2FAs set up on your account
You can simply use another 2FA to login. You can also delete the 2FA you lost access to, see How to delete Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?.
If your only 2FA is Google Authenticator, and you have the backup code or the secure private key
You can use the backup code or the secure private key (you were prompted to write these down when initially setting up) to login and recover your 2FA on another device.
If you do not have the backup code or the secure private key, or if your only 2FA is Yubikey
Please contact us at support@crosstower.com using the email address associated with your account, we will send you a link to our secure upload portal where you can upload your ID, selfie, and deposit history, so we can verify your identity & ownership of the account.
Once we verify your identity and the ownership of the account, we will reset the 2FA for you.
Please note that you can request to remove your 2FA only if your account is verified, otherwise you will have to open a new CrossTower account with a different email address.
If you lost access to your email, please see What if I lost access to my email?.
